Parent Partner Programs

Knowing how busy you are as a Parent of a young Child, we like to extend to you the vast knowledge our Experienced Staff  has about Child Development.   All Workshops and Events are complimentary to our currently Enrolled Families.

The Importance of Bonding - Infant Massage Communicates Your Love

Infant Massage is an ancient tradition in many cultures and offers an opportunity for you to get to know your child on a deeper level.  It incorporates the necessary elements of bonding:  eye-to-eye contact, skin-to-skin contact, smiling and other facial expressions, soothing sounds, and cuddling.  Parent and Child develop a special closeness with benefits lasting a lifetime.  The interaction of Massage provides Parents a wonderful way to stay in touch with their growing child.

     Benefits of Infant Massage -

*Enhances loving communication and nurtures parenting skills between caregiver and baby.

*Helps to strengthen and regulate digestive, respiratory, and circulatory systems.

*Helps Parents to better understand and respond appropriately to their baby's nonverbal cues.

*Relieves symptoms of gas and colic.

*Allows both Parents and Baby to relax and relieve the stresses that build up daily from the baby's new encounters with the world.

*Teaches babies to be aware of their body's tensions and how to release them.

*Enhances Parent's and Caregiver's sense of compentence in dealing with fussy, sick, or special needs babies.

     Infant Massage Ages -

It is recommended babies be at lease three weeks old to begin Infant Massage.

Instruction is modified as infants grow - it is never too late to begin a Massage Program with your growing child.  For older children, often the extremities are focused on with "Soccer Rubdowns, Dancer Rubdowns, etc.  The interaction of Massage provides a quiet space to share.  Often the relaxation of the Massage allows an older Child to open up and share with you what they are feeling.

Living Organically & Healthy Snack Ideas

A vast array of local and national resources are available to you about Green Living - household cleaning products, gardening supplies, detergents, etc.  Become a better informed consumer - you have purchase power!

Our Healthy Snack ideas offer easy substitutes to move away from processed foods and eating natural and raw foods.  Making these substitutions now, when your Child is young will guide them to make lifelong healthy eating habits.

Book Lending Library

Reading daily to your Child is the single most important foundation for learning you can offer.   Sometimes making it to the Town Library is difficult to manage.  Peruse Our Lending Library and offer a variety of "new books" to capture your Child's attention easily.

School to Home Activities

Even the "youngest" of our students enjoy the opportunity to share information from school at home and vice versa.  Your Child's Teacher has simple activities that will encourage your Child to begin to feel comfortable sharing their ideas in a group setting with their classmates.

Parent Workshops

All Children's Learning Center frequently hosts Special Event Workshops covering a variety of topics;  Nutritition, Discipline and Guidance, and Financial Planning to name a few.
