As a Childcare Center offering "Holistic & Mindful Education", our Staff and Programs are available as a supportive partner with you as you travel along your Parenting Journey. Our Parent Partner Programs include; instruction in infant massage, living organically, healthy snacks, book lending library, evening Parent Workshops, and School to Home Learning Activities.
Creating a holistic learning environment, our Program encourages natural learning through art, dramatic play, story time, block building, manipulatives, science, and enrichment experiences with music, creative art expression, nature studies, and yoga.
Our Educational Philosophy focuses on the whole-child. We believe in a child guided approach to creative learning, promoting character development, self-esteem, and independence; fostering children to develop their natural curiosity and immerse themselves in hands-on, rich learning experiences. Learning activities are inspired by Gardner's Multiple Intelligences Theory; believing that people possess a variety of natural learning strenths; linguistic/word smart, logical/math smart, spatial/picture smart, kinesthetic/body smart, music smart, interpersonal/people smart, intrapersonal/self smart, and nature smart. By tapping into your Child's natural learning strength your child becomes an avid learner; enthusiastically discovering and exploring the world around him or her! Naturally occuring Smart Areas are used to bridge potential challenges in acquiring new information. Traditional educational models rely heavily on learning thru hearing - auditory processing, which limits individual learning styles.
Our Curriculum also nurtures your Child's emotional intelligence. Thru activities to develop a strong School Family, we celebrate the uniqueness of each child, facilitate your child's compassion and empathy for others, recognize ways that they are helpful and kind to family and friends, and model assertive behavior with concrete tools to resolve conflict. These are valuable Life Skills that will serve as a foundation to help your child master the necessary social competencies as they continue on their educational path.
