Our Center Philosophy is to provide a warm and nurturing atmosphere for your child to feel understood, loved, and secure. We recognize and respect the unique attributes each child brings to our Center and support all aspects of development; social, physical, intellectual, and emotional growth. Our Curriculum is rich in activities to foster your child's "emotional literacy" as well as their academic literacy." Through abundant, carefully planned, themataic hands-on" learning activities, children are encouraged to plan, create, reflect and share their experiences with each other, their teachers, and of course, you!
Our Educating The Whole Child, Preserving Our Planet Philosophy focuses on holistic & mindful learning and living. Our daily routine as well as individual lessons incorporate recycling and environmental awareness. An appreciation for the diversity of our world is accomplished through experiencing multi-cultural music and instruments and learning about famous works of art. We are planting the seeds for good planet stewardship and what it means to be a contributing global citizen.
We believe strongly that Family Involvement is essential to the quality of our Program and provide daily written communication about your child's experiences as well as many photographs so you can re-live those special moments together! If you choose to, we will even email them to you on the spot!
Throughout the day, the children have the opportunity to make choices during self-directed playtime, develop cooperative play skills through interactions with peers, and practice listening skills and following directions during teacher-directed activities. A wide range of materials are available to foster creativity, develop small and large muscle groups, and cognitive skills. The children engage in dramatic play, story time, music, art, block building, manipulatives, science, nature studies, and outdoor play.
Each month we devote activities to a Character Building Topic strengthening our ties to our school family and the global community.

After hours, we host speaking engagements led by local experts on Family Health and Well-Being Topics, as well as "Family Fun Day Events."
